question is, why do you want to use it? all oil additives are Band-aid fixes to try and cover up underlying problems, or to prolong engine life before having to do a big ticket repair. that's not always bad. high mileage, high performance engines can benefit from addtives if they're a little too grungy, too loose, too leaky, too clogged . . . Lucas is going to thicken and gunk things up. It pours like honey. There is a bullsh*t post and website out there about how Lucas gets too many air bubbles in it when agitated. Science aside, talk to the folks who really abuse their engines - racers who swap out engine and trannies the way we pick our noses, and they will tell Lucas is good stuff. I haven't used any additives for 20K now. I used them a lot before I change out my lifters. Decide if you your goal is to thicken and seal, or clean and degunkify, then pick your additive accordingly.
